How do I become a new patient?

Send us your name and the best way to reach you through the contact form, or call the office. We call you back within one business day to verify insurance and book your evaluation. New patient appointments are usually available within 10 to 14 days.

What happens at the first appointment?

The initial psychiatric evaluation lasts about 60 minutes. We review your history, current symptoms, past treatment, and goals, then build a plan together. If medication makes sense, we explain the options, the trade-offs, and what to watch for.

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes. Telehealth visits are available anywhere in Florida using a secure video platform. You will receive a link before your appointment.

What should I bring?

A photo ID, your insurance card, a list of current medications and doses, and the name and phone number of your primary care provider and pharmacy.

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Please give us 24 hours' notice. Missed appointments and late cancellations are billed at $75, because that time was held for you.

Do you prescribe controlled substances?

Accepted Answer

We treat ADHD and may prescribe stimulant medication when it is clinically appropriate. That requires an in-person or video evaluation, a controlled-substance agreement, and regular follow-up visits.

Can you refill a prescription between visits?

Accepted Answer

Refill requests are handled through your pharmacy and processed within two business days. Please plan ahead, because we cannot refill controlled medications early.
